Trump supporter and Republican candidate for governor of Arizona Kari Lake posted an ad of hers on Gettr in which she accuses her opponent Katie Hobbs of having been convicted of racism, so i did a search because you can’t take anyone’s word on anything these days and Google gave me no results. Bing, on the other hand, DID give me results, and relevant ones at that. There was a shitload of images above the fold so i had to scroll down but you can see from the URL that i was using the same search terms. Very odd, no?

From this preview (document went blank within minutes of my reading it so may not be there at all pretty soon) of their upcoming changes to the rules, it seems that if you use Paypal in connection with the spreading of views they don’t like they may steal thousands of dollars from you…

“Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy constitutes a violation of the PayPal User Agreement and may subject you to damages, including liquidated damages of $ 2,500.00 U.S. dollars per violation, which may be debited directly from your PayPal account(s)”

And this is the relevant, upcoming change to how their precious service may or may not be used. Note the “sole discretion” bit. Seems to imply that not only is YOUR opinion not relevant, but so is the courts’!

“5. involve the sending, posting, or publication of any messages, content, or materials that, in PayPal’s sole discretion…?(e) depict,?promote, or incite hatred or discrimination of protected groups or of individuals or groups based on protected characteristics (e.g. race, religion, gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, etc.)”

The Woke Fascism just gets worse and worse. Personally, even though i don’t use my Paypal for anything political, i am going to close my account as soon as i switch some payment methods over to credit card. Disgusting stuff.
